Opened in 2000, our Spencer Road café is every bit the central hub as our flagship Diamond location. Situated on the Waterside, close to the City’s railway station and the acclaimed renovation of Ebrington, our café is ideal for taking a break in between kayaking on the River Foyle, touring the city’s museums, wandering St. Columbs park, or visiting the aquarium at The Loughs Agency. We’re just a leisurely stroll across the Peace Bridge from the bustling city centre – perfect for tourists, visitors, bikers and locals alike.

Our wide range of sandwiches, paninis, salads, cakes and sweets, and hot options from Ulster Fry to a baked potato, makes for the perfect breakfast, lunch, or light midday snack. All of these, plus our various and always-delicious coffees, are served with a smile from our award-winning staff.

Owned and managed by Annette Deeney since 2012, Annette’s team of staff have been ensuring excellent customer service and quality since. Annette believes the Sandwich Co’s uniqueness is the quality and consistency of the great food and coffee offered, coupled with excellent customer service and the friendly, relaxing atmosphere provided.
